Beauty & Holistic Therapies
Beauty and Holistic Therapies is one of the world's largest growing industries. New treatments and products are continually being introduced. Personal care and presentation is becoming an increasingly important feature of people's lives. The image people present to the world can affect confidence, performance, and success. Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing play an important part in this process. But it doesn't end there. There are so many aspects to Beauty Therapy that go beyond image and can have a positive effect on health and well-being such as massage and aromatherapy, (Holistic therapies). On successful completion of their full-time course, students often continue their training at Fareham College on a part-time basis or even return full-time to gain specialist expertise in a wide variety of Beauty Therapy, Holistic Therapy and Hairdressing Skills. There are many exciting new courses to choose from, than ever before!
Students will be required to purchase kits, salon uniform and shoes for all Beauty Therapy courses and in the case of the combined Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy course; they will need to purchase two sets. All items are specified by and available to order through the College, and are an essential part of the course.

Admissions
Students will be offered a place on an appropriate programme of study which best meets their learning needs and aspirations. For many of the programmes of study, there are minimum entry requirements. These requirements must be met and will be discussed at interview. More details in the Full Time Admissions Policy.
