This course replaces the Level 3 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. The qualification is designed for people working in a support role in a school environment. To achieve the Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, learners must achieve 32 credits. These credits can be achieved from a range of mandatory and optional units that include underpinning knowledge as well as competence based assessment.
To gain entry onto this course you need to be employed and have experience working in a supportive role and ideally gained level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy.
