With a broad range of multi-media resources, study areas and
flat screen PCs, Fareham College’s Library & Information
Centre is the ideal place to study and revise when students want
to get away from the hustle and bustle of the college’s
other communal areas.
Whether they have to do some research for a project, revise
for an exam, have a flick through industry magazines for careers
inspiration or take advantage of the extensive IT facilities
available, the Library & Information Centre has all the resources
they need.
A photocopying service is on offer to students, and of course
they can borrow books to take home with them.
The library has around 22,000 books available, but if a certain
book doesn’t happen to be in stock, students can benefit
from the inter-library loan system. This means that the required
publication can be quickly ordered in from another library and
prevent the student from having to travel elsewhere.
With efficient and friendly staff on hand to help and advise
students with their study and resource needs, Fareham College’s
Library & Information Centre is a central facility in terms
of helping students to reach their maximum potential.
