Fareham College’s Motor Vehicle department teaches students in a full working garage, which is situated on campus.

The college owns about a dozen cars for the students to work on, ranging from a BMW 5-series to the NEW Peugeot 206.

Motor Vehicle students service, upgrade and modify these cars as part of their studies, but they can also work on the vehicles of staff and students for practical work experience.

With the professional guidance and supervision of the Motor Vehicle lecturers, students can offer the following services:

• General servicing
• Exhaust replacements
• Wheel balancing, tyre safety checks and tyre replacements
• Valets
• Comprehensive pre-MOT checks
