Showcase Open Evening at Fareham College!

Fareham College has had great success with two recent Open Evenings, each taking on a special theme related to life as a student at FC. Staff and students are now planning the third Open Evening for this academic year which will be a Showcase themed event and will take place on Tuesday 5th February from 4-8pm at the Bishopsfield Road campus. Here students will demonstrate the diversity, professionalism and progression throughout the college, and allow visitors to experience the vibrant nature of the campus.

Last month the VIP Open Evening proved to be a huge success – drawing in a record number of applications! The evening highlighted to school pupils and their parents how all Fareham College students get the VIP treatment, with emphasis on student support, smaller class sizes, accessible facilities and an incredible 100 full-time courses to choose from with an appropriate entry level for everyone. Those who came along to the VIP open evening were also treated to luxury chocolates, a special show by a magician and there was a stretched limo to add to the glitz of the evening!

In October we found that young people really want to have Fareham College brains at the Train Your Brain Open Evening!! Perspective students were invited to try out practical, fun challenges relating to their chosen subjects which proved to be a big hit!

The Open Evenings are a fantastic opportunity for school pupils and their parents to experience the college’s fast growing success and to appreciate the many opportunities that the college can offer.
