New part-time IT courses

Fareham College will be introducing some new part-time courses this year.

Those interested in pursuing or developing an existing a career in IT support will be interested to learn that Fareham College will be running a new practical IT course that is officially recognised and supported by many top IT companies, including Microsoft, Cisco and Hewlett Packard.

The Level 2 OCR iPRO Certificate is a year-long course that equips the learner with the necessary theoretical background to IT systems, but is taught using practical methods, making for a more hands-on and dynamic learning experience.

Another new IT course is designed for computer users who are concerned about the increased security risks associated with Information Technology.

The unique ‘Protect Your Computer from Viruses and Hackers’ course has been developed at Fareham College and will provide computer security tips and advice in an accessible and simple way.
