Financial Assistance
How do we get financial and welfare advice or support?
Parents often think they will have to pay for all of their son or daughter’s education, but the range of financial support schemes available at Fareham College means that this is not always the case.
Students may be entitled to financial support depending on their personal circumstances.
Our Student Welfare Officer can provide advice and details about support for travel, help with purchasing course equipment and other financial support available including help with childcare costs and our Bursary Scheme for vulnerable young people. Application forms for such support will be sent to students prior to enrolment.
For students over 19 support can be given via the Discretionary Learner Support Fund based on individual circumstances, as well as with travel, childcare and course fee costs.
Please see the Financial Help & Welfare pages for more information.
The College endeavours to ensure that all students who require financial support receive it.
To find out more about the range of support available or to discuss any specific issues please contact our friendly Student Welfare Officer, Debbie Goodall on 01329 815 292 or email debbie.goodall@fareham.ac.uk.
