Learning Services

Fareham College believes that it is important for students to reach their maximum potential, and Learning Services are there to make sure that students who are having difficulties with their course can also fulfil their capabilities.

Students can request assistance from Learning Services if they are having any problems with their studies, or lecturers can ask for help for an individual who they feel could achieve more with additional support.

Learning Services can also assist students with learning difficulties, those with sight and hearing impairments and individuals with disabilities.

Key Skills

The Learning Services team also provide support to most students at the college in terms of the development of their key skills.

Students are required to improve their communication, number and IT skills alongside their course to enhance their learning experience.

Employers and universities require employees and applicants who can demonstrate a good grasp of these skills, so it is really important that students leave Fareham College with a good range of practical abilities, as well as their qualification.
