Dine with us at our newly refurbished, modern and vibrant silver-service training restaurant. Chequers is open to the public and offers diners exceptionally high-quality food at a fraction of high street prices.
The restaurant is run by our Hospitality and Catering students with a focus on impeccable service, value for money and exceptional quality food and wine. We also offer ‘themed evenings’ throughout the year which keeps customers coming back for more – book early to avoid disappointment.

Diploma 1 Menu Served by our full-time first year students will be offered on Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes 11.45am – 2pm (last orders 12.45pm). Two course lunch available for £8.50 and three courses for £10.50
"Come Fly With Me" Menu Served by students from the Air Cabin Crew course and cooked by students on our NVQ programme. A 2 course light lunch will be available from 11.45am (last orders at 12.45pm) on Wednesday lunchtimes at a cost of £7.95
Diploma 2 Menu Our full-time second year students will be offering Thursday and Friday lunch service from 11.45am – 2pm (last orders 12.45pm)
Two course lunch available for £9.50 and three courses for £11.50
Diploma 3 Menu Cooked by the Advanced Professional Chef students and served by Level 3 Food and Beverage students, a Fine Dining À la Carte menu will be offered on Thursday evenings from 6.30 – 9pm (last orders at 7.30pm).
