Our Built Environment & Construction Department offers a variety of full and part time vocational courses and apprenticeships, which provide students with the essential skills required to work within today’s construction industry. Levels 1 to Level 3 courses include the traditional construction trades; Brickwork, Carpentry and Joinery and Painting and Decorating and those within mechanical and electrical sector.
Your Future is Bright
Students can undertake their Level 1-3 construction qualifications in their chosen specialised area and use them to work on a variety of construction projects. Once you attain your Level 3 qualification, there are a number potential higher level training programme opportunities to work as a site supervisor, project manager, quantity surveyor, estimator, or you may even find yourself working in education!
Courses will prepare Student for a terrific career in the industry. Graduates go on to perform a number of industry-related roles including: Bricklayer, Brickwork Team, Specialist Garden Feature Construction Work, Landscape Architecture, Management, Carpenter, Installation Carpenter, Painter & Decorator.
Student will be expected to provide their own overalls and safety footwear. All other resources & equipment will be provided. We will be able to discuss course requirements at your application interview.
