With outstanding success rates in recent years, significant investment to create industry standard practice, rehearsal rooms and courses geared to provide an essential portfolio of skills required by universities and business, the Music Department at Fareham College is launching a new generation into the Creative Industries.

Whatever your interest in Music is, The Performing Arts Department provides courses for aspiring Musicians, Singers, Songwriters, Promoters, Recording Engineers, Media Producers and Publishers. Our Music team draw on their own professional industry experience to encourage an active programme that prepares students for the next steps and helps them make decisions about their future.
Courses will prepare Student for a terrific career in the industry. Graduates go on to perform a number of industry-related roles including: DJ, Musician, Music retailer, Performer, Music Journalist, Radio Presenter, Session Musician, Composer, Studio Technician, Audio Engineer, Producer, Music Event Manager, Music Therapist, Music Publicist, Public Operations Officer for music record labels.
Instrumentalists must provide their own instruments for practice and performance study in our purpose-built rehearsal rooms. Each studio is equipped with guitar amplifiers & PA equipment.
