If you are aged 19-23 years and receive benefits i.e. Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance, you may be able to study for free or receive a discounted rate. The same also applies if you are aged 24+ and receive benefits (as above) and studying below a Level 3.
If you are aged 19-23 years and want to study for your first full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (BTEC Level 2 or 3 NVQ or equivalent) you may be able to study for free or receive a discounted rate.
If you aren’t eligible for a free part time course, don’t worry we can help ease the burden. Taking out a loan isn’t the only way you can pay for your course. If your course fees are over £500 then you can opt to pay by instalments. This will spread the cost of your fees over a number of months. An initial deposit will be required and a monthly administrative fee will be charged.
If your course fees are being paid by an employer or other third party, you will be given all the necessary information at enrolment.
For some courses there may be additional costs such as course books, trips, uniforms or specialist equipment. Information about additional costs will be discussed at the enrolment and interview stage of your application.
Are you aged 24 years or over and thinking about further education?
If you are looking for your next challenge and you are keen to develop your skills further but worried about how to pay for your course, the 24+ Advanced loans will help you Study Now and Pay Later.
If you wish to study for a Level 3 or above qualification and you are 24 or over on the start date of your chosen course then you can apply for a 24+ Advanced loan to cover the cost of some of your fees for many Level 3 or 4 courses.
Applying for a loan couldn’t be simpler and will help you pay for work-related courses to develop your career or help you with a new career path. And the good news is, you won’t need to pay anything back until you are earning over £21,000 per year.
