What is Enrichment?

We understand that College life is more than just studying and at Fareham we run a wide-ranging and exciting Enrichment programme which is available to all of our Full Time and Part Time students. If you want to get fit, meet new people, improve your skills, get creative, or just have fun – we have something for you!

From Badminton to Acting to Life Drawing, there is something for everyone. We also have our competitive sports teams offering Rugby, Netball, Basketball and Football, so you can make the most of your time at College.

Our Enrichment Activities:

Competitive Sport – Team FC

Football – Fareham College offers two football teams playing in the Hampshire Colleges League. Manager of the 1st team is Danny Parkinson with Iain Russell leading the 2nd team. Fixtures are on a Wednesday afternoon with home fixtures scheduled at Cams Alders Stadium, the home of Fareham Town FC.

Rugby – Team FC Rugby will encounter regular fixtures against local colleges alongside entry into tournaments hosted at Trojans Rugby Club. Game day is traditionally a Wednesday.

Netball – Netball is new to the competitive sport teams that Fareham College offers this year. There are opportunities to play competitive fixtures against local colleges and universities and to enter tournaments including Versatility Netball and Mixed Netball. Once again, the majority of matches will feature on a Wednesday.

Basketball – The Basketball team is led by coach Richard Mann and fixtures are played on a Thursday afternoon. Home fixtures are played in our Sports Hall.
