Description:

In partnership with The Solent Civil Engineering Employers’ Group, we are proud to be offering a new Apprenticeship programme designed to prepare people for a long-term career in Construction.

This opportunity is unique and unlike other Apprenticeship vacancies. The training you will receive is front-loaded into the first 20 weeks of the course, where you receive practical training and support in a custom-built training facility, CETC, in Lee-on-the-Solent.

The training you receive on this programme ensures that you are “site ready” on your first day on site after your 20-week training programme with both your CSCS card and your CPCS card.

Once you are on-site, you will be working with a close-knit team of people completing a wide variety of tasks, including road and infrastructure development, residential housing, hard landscaping, water management/domestic drainage, and utility installation.

Employment within the Construction industry is varied and fast-paced. For the right person, it will lead to a long and promising career with many development opportunities available and enviable pay rates once you are qualified.

A typical working week (when training at CETC) will be Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. When released on-site with your employer, working hours and days may vary.

Successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to work for one of the SCEEG employers and will receive outstanding training, competitive pay rates, and a career for life.
