  • Hospitality Masterclass –  Mixology (Cocktails)

Our Cocktail Masterclass offers an introduction to the world of cocktails and the art of Mixology teaching you how to mix the perfect cocktail. Sessions are held in our award winning restaurant Avenue141.

Dressmaking

Choose your own fabric, learn how to use a sewing machine and cut material to pattern. You will be guided by an experienced tutor, with industry experience and a professional approach. Working through a number of techniques to provide take-home knowledge to continue your own future projects.

Filmmaking

Increase your confidence with basic video making and learn how to shoot movie-style video footage using your camera. Video techniques can be complicated for even the most advanced photographer, and with the broad range of products available knowing where to start can be confusing. This course aims to demystify video making, explaining the jargon and making it easy to understand.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Learn how to create amazing designs, documents and photographs with Adobe Creative Cloud tools. This course will teach you the basics of using Adobe CC software, including setting up new workspaces, using layers, retouching photos and exporting work for print and online. We’ll also get to grips with some of the other features and apps in the Creative Cloud and explore how they work together. This course is perfect if you are interested in learning more about digital design and publishing. During the course, you’ll work with:

Funding Information

Applying for a course that has a concession?

Then the course could be free! Some courses are eligible for funding if you are an unemployed individual, on a state benefit* and you want to enter employment and need the skills from one of our funded courses to achieve this.

* (Income Support (universal credit), Job Seekers, ESA contribution Based, ESA work related activity group. Includes SFA funded courses only. You must be aged 19-23 on 31 August 2014. You must produce evidence of the benefit in your name when you enrol. Concessions do not apply to higher education courses.

How do I find out what the fee for my course is?

The fee for your chosen course is listed in the individual course sections accessed on this page. It includes the cost of tuition plus the cost of any exam and registration fee charged by the exam board (if applicable).

Are there any other costs I may have to pay?

Some courses may require you to pay extra costs for things such as course books, trips, and specialist equipment or clothing. If your course has any additional costs, you will be notified before enrolment. You can also contact the College on call 01329 815 200 to find out more.

I’m an international student – are my course fees different?

If you have not been resident in the UK, EU or EEA for more than three years before the start of your course (excluding any time spent in full-time education), different course fees may apply to you – please call 01329 815 200 to find out more. Fareham College cannot sponsor Tier 4 student visas.

My employer is funding my course – what do I need to do?

You will need to complete an Employer Authorisation form, and return to the Enrolments team, and your employer will be invoiced accordingly.

How do I pay for my course?

You can pay by cash, cheque, credit or debit card. And for courses over £500 we offer a payment by instalment service to help spread the cost of your course. A £250 minimum deposit is required if you choose to pay by instalments. Please contact the College for more information.
