One Year – Full time

Entry Requirements

Five GCSEs at grade 9-3 including English and Maths, or a full Level 1 qualification with a ‘stepping stone’ English and Maths qualification. It is imperative that you are in possession of a current passport.


This full time course is primarily for people hoping to become airline cabin crew, although you will develop skills that are transferable across many travel and tourism sectors.

To provide a realistic working environment you will train in a specially adapted section of an A320 aircraft where you will learn about all aspects of a flight including dealing with emergencies, customer care, selling techniques and airline health, safety and security.

You will also be offered the opportunity to attend a major airline’s training centre such as British Airways.

Next Steps

 Students can progress to study the Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism. Careers could include airline junior cabin crew, leading on to the senior role of purser or cabin crew trainer.
