The feet are considered to be a map of the body mirroring its organs and structure. You will learn all the fundamental skills required to become a knowledgeable and confident professional Reflexologist.
Reflexology treatments involve massage and the application of pressure to specific reflex areas of the feet. By stimulating these reflex points on the feet circulation can be improved, tension decreased and body toxins can be eliminated. Reflexology treatments are designed to boost energy levels, enhance emotional wellbeing and can help with a number of physical problems such as arthritis, back pain, fatigue or alleviate stress-related problems e.g. migraines, tensions or high blood pressure.
Your study programme will consist of the following units:

You will create a portfolio of assessments which is mandatory and you will undertake theory exams that are essential for the completion of the qualification. Practical tuition, online learning, guidance and support will be given throughout the course. Assignments will be completed to ensure the understanding of underpinning knowledge. It is advisable to secure work experience alongside your qualification to further enhance your customer service skills.
Applicants should have a background or qualification in anatomy and physiology or a Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification.
Applicants must have a genuine interest in holistic therapy, enthusiasm and commitment. A suitability and dexterity assessment may be required.
A good level of English is required to enable the successful completion of the underpinning knowledge and assignment work.
There is a large proportion of independent and home study (minimum/approximately 5 hours per week) and practice required (100 case studies).
A uniform is required, details will be provided on application.
Completion of the Level 3 Reflexology course will enable progression towards a variety of routes; you could:
• Progress onto the Level 4 Salon Management qualification to support long term development and a career in a management role
• Develop your skills in additional specialities such as Aromatherapy, Nail Technology or Specialist Complementary Therapy
• Operate a commercial business from home, a salon, spa or clinic
• Gain full accreditation and insurance through professional membership
• Build a client base through health centres, shows, the workplace or even festivals!

Will I have to pay fees?
School Leavers under the age of 19 do not have to pay fees on any full time courses, though may have to pay for their second year if turning 19 during their studies.
If you’re aged 19 or over you might qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan. It’s easy to apply for and you won’t have to pay anything back until you’re earning over £27,295. Find more information on Advanced Learner Loans on our website.
If you are studying a part-time course and you receive one of the following benefits, or you depend financially on someone who does, you may be entitled to have your tuition fees waived:

You will, however, have to pay any awarding body/assessment fees (unless you are on a first full level 2 course).
