What are Higher Technical Qualifications?

Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQ) are Level 4 and 5 qualifications that sit between A/T Level and Degrees. They have been developed in partnership with awarding bodies, employers and businesses to ensure learners get the specific training, knowledge and skills they need for their chosen careers.

The newly approved Digital qualifications start from September 2022, with additional subjects launching in 2023, including Construction, Health and Science.
