WisePay is a secure online payment service that allows students and staff to make payments at College using their debit or credit cards.

The WisePay service operates in hundreds of colleges, schools and academies across the UK, and Fareham College uses this cashless vending system so students can pay for food, drinks, trips and equipment at College if they choose to.

Creating an account and making payments

When you enrol at Fareham College a WisePay account will automatically be set up for you at the start of your course. The details will be sent to you via your College email account.

All money that you pay goes directly and immediately to the College’s bank account.

Yes. All pages viewed on WisePay are encrypted using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) session.

Neither WisePay nor Fareham College can see or has access to any of your card details. Your card details are never stored by WisePay.

Fareham College’s finance team are notified when you have made a payment. They know which student the payment is for, how much has been paid and the item(s) that you have paid for.

Yes, you will automatically receive a receipt directly to your email address for every payment that you make.

WisePay automatically links to the tills in Fareham College’s canteen and cafes. Therefore, if you make an online payment using WisePay for food and drink, the payment details will be carried with you and will be available for you to spend in the canteen when you wish to make a purchase – just use your student card to pay at the till!

Once logged in to your account, you can access your ‘Wise Account’.

From here you can see your transaction history, view meal account balances and change some of your account details, such as email address or telephone number. You can also change your password from here.
