What is an Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a real job combined with studying, allowing you to gain nationally-recognised qualifications and competencies whilst earning a wage.
Apprentices earn and learn at the same time, and gain valuable hands-on experience along with new skills and knowledge in the workplace. You will usually be at work for four days a week, and at college one day a week to complete the necessary theory and skills development for your qualification.
Apprenticeships not only lead to a fulfilling career, but also funded pathways to higher education.
Here at Fareham College, we excel in delivering apprenticeships across a variety of industries and job roles – our facilities and the training we provide are multi-award winning and highly regarded by business leaders.
Apprenticeship training is delivered through Business Plus, Fareham College’s dedicated apprenticeships department, who provide expert support, advice and guidance to ensure you achieve your best.
