Taster Days at Fareham College
Our taster events are a great way for you to discover what life at Fareham College is like and to see for yourself why excellence is closer than you think at Fareham College.
Results from a recent survey showed that for nearly all of our current students, a taster event or activity with Fareham College helped them decide to study here.
Taster events will allow you to try a couple of our courses you are interested in. The taster events will also allow you to meet lecturers and current students of ours at Fareham College. These taster events will be held in late June and early July. This information will be shared with your schools closer to the time.
We also have an extensive outreach offer that has been sent to all local schools. These outreach activities cover all courses at all campuses and are available for students in Years 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. You can find out more about these from your teachers at school.
Attending a Taster Event means you will:
- Be able to try out subjects you are interested in
- Meet lecturers from your chosen courses
- Meet students and experience the social life at the College
- Have an opportunity to ask any questions
- Receive all the help and support you need in order to make an informed choice about your future
