Introduction

Aiming for a career in dance, musical theatre or acting is exciting and challenging. Our courses will give you the professional training needed to hone your technique, develop your skills, and project your talent to help you stand out in this competitive industry. 

Whether you want to be in front or behind the camera, on-stage or backstage, our excellent Performing Arts department will provide you with professional, up-to-date training to maximise your chances of entering the industry directly or securing a place at a specialist drama or dance school, or university. 

Throughout your course, you will perform and help produce plays and shows of the highest quality – all of which repeatedly receive outstanding acclaim. 

Course Facilities

Our Performing Arts facilities replicate a realistic theatrical setting, with equipment including: 

  • 120 seat professional-standard theatre, with full sound system, lighting rigs, dedicated technical support, and operational front of house area 
  • Media suite and rehearsal rooms 
  • Modern fully sprung dance studio with mirrors and barres
  • Extensive wardrobe of costumes, props, and scenic equipment
  • Video equipment to record live performances
  • Theatrical hair and make-up stylists provided for all performances
  • Film studio for professional headshots, photoshoots, and filming.

Full Time Courses

Our full time courses focus on helping you to develop your performance skills including voice and speech coaching, singing, movement, musical theatre, acting for camera and radio and children’s theatre. 

Based in our excellent studio facilities you will also learn the principles of audience engagement, develop critical and contextual awareness, collaborate with other disciplines such as music, media, fashion, and specialist make-up, undertake front-of-house theatre operations, and understand the process of creating and executing a production.

Full Time Courses
