All courses are delivered at CEMAST, giving you access to the latest technology, workshops and industry-standard resources for a highly professional training experience.

Higher Education

HNC and HND qualifications are workplace-specific, and designed to prepare you for a range of technical, professional and management careers in engineering.

If you have completed a Level 3 qualification in Engineering and want to carry on with training to advance your skills even further, these courses are an ideal route into university or higher level employment.

They are also a great option if you are already in employment and looking to gain an advanced qualification in your field.

We are one of the only colleges in the areas to offer many of these specialised higher level courses.

Higher apprentices will usually study a Higher National Certificate (HNC) at College full time for a year before they enter the workplace. Our Higher National Diploma (HND) qualifications are delivered over a two-year period on a part time/day-release basis, giving students the opportunity to study around their normal working hours.
